Ugh. Past it's time. So riddled with sediment if I strained it all out I'd have half a bottle. Maybe my fault for drinking too late. I tasted traces of interest but...I sincerely would want to taste more of the makers' works. Probably just time that messed this one up in my mouth.

Feb 19th, 2017A little smoky, really enjoyable, fantastic with chipotle rubbed steak. A lot of sediment, had to strain it or it would have been gnarly.

Apr 4th, 2018Burnt amber on the eye, medium+ viscosity. Nose sees stewed, overripe cherries, caramalized/burnt sugary red fruit, vanilla, roasted hay, little bit of funk. Palette sees tart, baked cherries, medium+ acid, light mouthfeel, long medium complex finish. I'll bet this is high abv, but age has mellowed and smoothed this out into a wonderful wine.

Mar 17th, 2017Age mellowed nicely. Lots of sediment left on the strainer and bottle. Decanted for about an hour and was rewarded with hints of berry mixed with mineral. Tannins were smoothed nicely and helped add a nice backbone.
