Really nice QPR Syrah. Nose opens with lush blue and black fruits followed by a little bit of savory olive and some alcohol notes. Very lively palate, the fruits really come alive with more savory olive and some mineral notes. Long savory finish without a lot of oaky notes

This was one of my first bottles of Saint-Joseph after trying a handful of Crozes recently. I decanted the bottle for about an hour before trying. In the glass the color was an opaque violet. The bouquet produced a wonderful and energetic strawberries with dark plums and crushed rocks. This wine explodes on the palate with medium body and acidity and finished long and strong. Nice fine tannins that coat your mouth but not uncomfortably so. Great QPR Syrah
