From taste: some butter and cocoa on entry, ripe dark berries, tapenade and lilac. Seems a quasi-modern take, plenty of fruit and tame. Dense and meaty palate, olive and fine acidity, creamy texture from wood, supple tannin. Tame indeed without losing its pure french syrah identity. Good concentration, and fine for the $47. A cornas to introduce folk to.
