#1978 #Magnum Top Domaine great Terroir Classic vintage. What more to tell, just loved it !!
May 16th, 20151978. Pale tawny. Nose of cinnamon, cabbage, goat cheese rind, sweet cherries, but with acidity underneath. Surprisingly crisp acidity on the palate, smooth tannins but still with a bit of chew. Flavours of ripe cherries and a kaleidoscope of exotic spices (five spice powder?). Long finish. Evolving and interesting with a lot of things to say. Reminds me of Cleopatra.
