Oh hell complex and juicy and fruity as f. Undercurrents of a mineral base. Picture those rocks that are mostly almost black but there is a speckle or so of white and that...is the mineral nature and it ballasts cocky-ass raspberries like this wine has an attitude. So damn good hope my (not so genius) tasting of a half bottle holds up. One last genius-ish thought: picture a newsies boy, cap and all doing a heel click while a Brooklyn winemaker toasts an old school french winemaker and that is your prettiness. I’ll pour it all into my Zalto.

Spiced raspberries with meaty/gamey notes as well as vanilla, cherry and smoke. This was a very tasty Red Rhine Blend that will do well with age.

With this wine vintage I wish I would have gotten into into a few years ago seems in my humble opinion it lost the bit of fruit it may have had... so wish I got to it in it’s pre-pubescent stage ( last time I’ll ever say that).

I read Ned Grey Creed’s review and had to try it. I might add it’s more like the difference between friends and good friends. Friends help you move. Good friends help you move...

In my list of best wines under $50, this one is at the top. In my list of best wines under $100, easily in the top 3. I bought it knowing CNDP has a standard to maintain, but at the price, I didn’t expect quite this level of complexity, long finish, and sikiness in the tannins. I went back to the store and bought the last three they had. I tend to fall in the high dollar Margaux camp, but this can give any of them a serious run for their money.

Oct 13th, 2017Excellent wine. Amazingly tasteful, complex with notes of red cherry and berries, perfect oak just to smooth down the wine without impacting what the wineries created. Fresh and long end in mouth.
