This 2009 was just as I wanted it. Perhaps a little stewed fruit, but lovely with Coq Au Vin

Kick ass wines at dinner last night. Loved Nico.

A delicious value for C-D-P. primarily Grenache and isn't packing a lot of heat for 2009...this was a half bottle.

Perfect. 12 years in. Just the right time.

Lazaret doesn't disappoint

Too hot for my palate and too sweet, but others loved it...I would not cellar further.
Does have a nice Chinese five spice on the
nose.and raspberry on the palate, lots of body (alcohol and.glycerin)
Will say more when taste day 2 if anything interesting happens.

Day 2 Better. The wine calmed down. But the alcohol is still out of whack.
