Deep purple color. Dense chocolate nose, overripe dark fruits. Powerful mouth, still a little alcoholic (2019), with pretty woody notes. Big aging potential. To be tasted in 5 years. (Mourvèdre, Syrah, Marsellan).
Robe pourpre profonde. Nez dense chocolat, fruits noirs en sur-maturité. Bouche puissante, encore un peu alcooleuse (2019), avec de jolies notes boisées. Gros potentiel de garde. A regoûter dans 5 ans. (Mourvèdre, Syrah, Marsellan). 3,7 en l’état. Potentiellement 4.

Evocation of a Gigondas, Vaqueyras, or CNduPape, with this blend pushing the alcoholic concentration of Rhône-type wines south, supported by an unexpected mineral weft that gives it delicious tension. Vinification and organic procession from end to end, for a silky and digestible sensation that is very appreciable. The aromatic palette is wide and makes you want to explore with promise the rest of the cuvées, very beautiful bottle for its price. Beautiful finish on a parmigiana eggplant tomato sauce.

Vinification et procession Bio d’un bout à l’autre, pour une sensation soyeuse et digeste très appréciable. La palette aromatique est large et donne envie d’explorer avec promesse le reste des cuvées, très belle bouteille pour son prix. Finale superbe sur une sauce tomate d’aubergine parmigiana.

Light start, more earth and spice than fruit. Just a hint if grapefruit and pomegranate.

A friend recommended this wine and I have to say that I was very disappointed. I think this bottle may have gone bad.
