There is still enjoyable Bourgogne for under $20 in the world. Aromas of damp earth with a little funk and mushroom lead to tart dusty cherry and cranberry. This is light bodied with decent minerality and good acidity. From a producer I hadn't previously seen.

Light style, cranberry and slightly citrus theme; has some nice Burgundian earthy qualities but a rubbery note is off putting.
