L'eau à la Bouche Côtes du Roussillon Grenache Blend

Earthy, barnyard. Dark fruit. Dark raspberries and cherries mixed together. Lots of acidity makes it almost taste fizzy.

Dark and rustic fruit as you'd expect from Roussillon, but very vibrant acidity and freshness (and ABV in check) that reminded me of Beaujolais. Tannins there, yet elegant enough for white proteins.

Dark red ruby, cherry, tart. Fresh, strong acid, a bit of fizz. Finishes on liquorice and plum. Strong but not overpowering.
