Really chewy tannins for the age with this producer, but it eventually settled down w some air. Seemed much more like the structure of its Kermit cousin at Tempier vs what I expect from younger Gros Nore bottlings. Pleasantly surprised. This could go another 10 years easily.

Savory Mourvèdre with beautiful structure and length. Took several hours to open up but paired wonderfully with hanger steak with a charred scallion sauce. Earth. Has years ahead of it.

Always love the old world/modern yin yang of this wine. Tar, asphalt, deep darker berry fruit profile. Plenty of resolved tannin and medium acid.

A great red Bandol.

Showing black fruits with earth, cedar, leather, chocolates, tobacco, licorice peppercorn, spices and green vegetables.

Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Great finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

Reminds me of a spicy Napa Cabernet.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

Herbs, black cherry, cocoa, fur, forest and spice. A touch shut down from LBT, still gorgeous nose w/ classic Bandol character and structure on a more elegant and polished frame. Always a pleasure!

Pretty powerful stuff. Licorice and saddle leather, dark fruit and tarry. Little grippy. I look forward to my next bottle in another 3-4 years.

Always love this wine. It's rich and ripe with plum and some interesting earthy/funky notes. This is one of those wines that makes you think is this brett, or is this just true Mourvèdre. Anyone?

This baby had depth of flavor. It was a brooding wine that evolved with time.
