The grandparent grape of Carmenere. Juicy red fruits, a hint of cassis and blueberries. Rustic, quite a bit of VA, wild herbs and dusty forest floor. Green pepper Jalapeño and smoke on the palate. Good structure. Light body.

Vanilla ice cream; olive; iron; sharp tangy aromas. Very mild wild strawberry, sour cherry, iron flavours with a hint of smoky tar and a tart, mouth-puckering finish. Very soft tannin.
