Crisp acidity on entry, earthy, wild berried, slight tobacco-like green tannins, lighter bodied and immensely refreshing at 12.5ABV.

The grandparent grape of Carmenere. Juicy red fruits, a hint of cassis and blueberries. Rustic, quite a bit of VA, wild herbs and dusty forest floor. Green pepper Jalapeño and smoke on the palate. Good structure. Light body.

Unique. Funky on the nose and the funk keeps coming. Is it good? Is it bad? I don’t know.

Vanilla ice cream; olive; iron; sharp tangy aromas. Very mild wild strawberry, sour cherry, iron flavours with a hint of smoky tar and a tart, mouth-puckering finish. Very soft tannin.

Unusual. Challenging. Yummm. Piment d’espelette in spades, olive tapenade, green peppercorn, wet leaves. Slightly acidic.

Lovely rustic wine!
Has lots of fruit matched with a herbaceous, peppery edge. Really drinkable!
