Much better than the 2011 Reignots. Intensely floral with sweet red cherry nose and spices. Difficult to believe that such an elegant and ethereal wine is from 2009. The sweetness towards the end on the palate was deceptive. Made us think the wine was 2010 when in fact the sweetness is attributed to the Suchot plot.

Jan 3rd, 20172006 Domaine du Comte Liger Belair burgundy. Brought this for K's surprise dinner at Mel. Amazing! Decanted at resto for a good hour and glad we did. Big, but balanced. Not punchy or sharp in any way. Absolutely loved it. Such a treat.

Oct 11th, 20152006 Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair Vosne Romanee Burgundy. Drank w Rick and K at Providence. Beautiful wine that had nice strawberry and cherry notes with some earthier smoke- like noses. Interesting. Great to sip and drink with lighter dishes and before the 1999 Soldera. Really enjoyed this wine all around!
