Gold red aged Jurançon. 100% Petit Manseng (in my top three white grape varieties). Matured in oak. Unfortunately lightly corked but the structure can cope.
Vanilla, marzipan, raisins, white chocolate, dried bananas, oven baked parsnips glistening with honey. Full bodied, auslese style sweetness with just enough acidity. Caramel and oak on the palate. Lightest tannins. Salt caramel and dried figs aftertaste. Nice length on this one. Without the cork I'd expect some more fruit.
