Garnet color with medium light body. Low tension. Strawberry and floral notes on the nose. Cherry and current with nice tannins on corking. After a couple hours breath, it brightened with cherry, tobacco and a spicy hit on the tongue. Finishes with strawberry, cherry and light oak notes. Paired with ham and potatoes for Christmas dinner. It’s refined and bold, a nice Pinot for certain.

From the Cote de Beaune. Light ruby color. Aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, currant with just a touch of rose petal, black pepper spice and vanilla. Tannins seemed a bit high. Not enough acidity to balance them out. Medium bodied with a long, oaky and dry finish. Reasonable. Revisited in March 2024.
