Oct 13th, 2017Bright, juicy cranberry and pomegranate notes on the nose and palate. Lilac and lavender. Strange kind of candy coated note, sweet and a little inorganic at the same time.
Super tart and acidic with more alcohol than I expected. Medium bodied but a less than wanted finish.

Because... Beaujolais! Domaine des Versauds Morgon! $13-Cranberry, some cocoa/cola. Opened up nicely and worked just fine with baked chicken.

Aug 6th, 2014Day 1 this was quite acidic and tannic, which contrasts with the complex nose of cherry/blueberry, leather. Day 2 was better because it mellowed out but still not enough depth or sweetness to offset the bitterness.

March 2019. Tucson with Kara. Lovely, balanced Beaujolais. Opened up nicely but as someone else mentioned, would be better in a year (or 2)
