I liked the generosity of flavor here, quite open and sweet fruited and packed more of a whallop than the 13.5% might indicate. red fruited, herbal and pleasant, but also came off as a bit tired and soupy, not a lot of focus here. That being said, worked great with beef tartare.

Learning the Rayas way with their entry-level red. So bloody good. Perhaps not as layered as the des Tours CDR (let alone the other cuvees), but at $40 it's hard value to beat. It captures the soul of Rayas so well. That dark cherry and raspberry, and the bitter orange peel finish (which I saw in all 3 rayas drank in the past week).

Fun racy red. Almost hemp-like on the nose though with some white tea. Lasting acid in the palate. Lingering vegetal taste with hints of hemp. Very interesting and fun to drink.

Blood orange, liquorice , strawberry, violet (?), grilled meat(?!) on the nose. I could spend the evening with my nose upon this glass! What a nose ! Blood orange again on the palate which tends to have this bitter feeling all along the acid backbone. Red fruits around there too. Not as Burgundian and ethereal and precise as the chateau (cdr) in the same vintage but I can feel the lineage here. The finish is long with a bitter salty touch. Wow again. For a 13€ price-tag I could have this any given day. Perhaps one of the best value ever encountered. I can’t wait to open the big big brother fonsalette

J'adore! Tellement facile à boire! C'est génial de faire un vin aussi complet à ce prix!
