2017. Much more enjoyable than most burgundy I’ve had at this price point in the US. Not enormously complex but subtle notes of raspberry and boysenberry. A little bit of the sourness I hate about bad Pinot but not a lot. No tannin. A little bit of oak. Smooth finish.

Jul 3rd, 2021Still young. Power and great structure, as you might expect from Gevrey-Chambertin. Performs well above the station of a Bourgogne level wine.
