2010 - very pretty. — 9 years ago
Wonderful smell of cherries and strawberries. Taste is sour cherries and feels a bit tight like it is holding back from more flavor. First sip also revealed a bit of burnt wood. Great with meal of artichoke stuffed chicken with Swiss. I’m thinking if I wait a few years it might be better. — 5 years ago
Philippe Livera is how most know the wine. A recent purchase and a good one, this is a super 99 grand cru that will just get better. Red and blue-fruited, it has more density than expected for Chapelle, a little secondary and a little tertiary development, ripe tannins, hints of sous bois, there is good acidity and balance and a creamy mouthfeel--wife says "yummy." Super wine. — 8 years ago

Très beau vin. — 5 years ago
Still young. Power and great structure, as you might expect from Gevrey-Chambertin. Performs well above the station of a Bourgogne level wine. — 6 years ago

This could pass as a fine Village wine but I couldn’t find the Grand in this Cru. Good structure and mouthfeel, fully mature. — 3 years ago
