L'Ancien Vieilles Vignes Nouveau Beaujolais Gamay

Really enjoyed it! Would easily serve as an adequate table wine or for cooking. A particularly good vintage this year.

Dead. No surprise as it's Nouveau and should have been consumed within six months. A worthwhile experiment, however.

Probably the best Nouveau I’ve had. Tastes almost like a straight Beaujolais.

Fruity & a bit dry @Evan Underhill this is a good one.

Lightly sweet with dark cherry forward and a spicy finish. Jammy and acidic. Bright but thin color. Low tannins.

Incredibly tolerant to the palate. Soft at the beginning with a touch of red fruits, but closing with complex and dry ending, attributable to the tannin I would say.

Fruity, fun, tart!
