Does Gamay get better than this? Perhaps but damn. The '09s continue to impress. This was great out the gate and continued to improve during dinner. Crushed it next to achiote rubbed ribeye.

Fragrant cherries and earth jump from the glass. In the mouth it is a well-balanced mix of red and black fruit tied up by a blast of fresh acid. Plenty of structure left to cellar this for many years.
