Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Beautiful deep ruby medium minus staining medium plus tears, aroma cooked / dried fruit baked plum, black berries - herbaceous nose some green medium plus alc med - acid tannin moderate... Juicy with a very nice bright black cherry finish..

Great pairing with roasted chicken, not too rich and not a lot of anise either. Different but a great pairing. Bright red fruits.

Sweet perfume fragrances fill the glass. Beautiful tastes of red currant and plum, along with a smoky oak undertone on the palate. Incredibly smooth tannins give this wine a solid backbone. Complex flavors and aromas make this a fantastic wine.

Smooth. Full, medium-bodied flavor throughout. No high or lows. Very nice.

Had a 1997 bottle last year. Life changing.

A good exemplar of CdP. Prefer something with more pencil lead and dirt, however, this is a nice selection.

Part of Ritz Coravin program. Definitely a thick and chewy wine. Not overly complex.

Smooth, refined with a long finish, a bit too leggy bordering on syrupy but delicious red berry notes and nice color
