What a showing. Just smoking. Floral, granite, so so floral. Violets, roses. Black olive. Just amazing. Bittersweet cocoa. Other chocolate? Valrhona? Such depth and just so pretty. Really expressive of place with just incredible minerality. Juicy and nimble but with a lovely mid palate opulence and richness but buoyed by terrific granitic freshness. Lovely sweet and ripe tannins. Amazing length, just epic. 9.5 for now. Curious if gets to 9.6.

Jan 8th, 2022Floral, spicey, mocha, gorgeous fineness and clarity. Soft and juicy. Lovey finish. Super juicy and clear. Red fruited. Terrific freshness and acidity. Awesome length. Nose is so high toned. Cote Rotie like. Purple jelly donut vinous though. Fine tannins. Maybe needs a steak. Awesome minerals.

Nov 20th, 2020Young and awesome. Dark nose. Cocoa, chocolate, granite, floral and mineral. Opens up slowly with spice and even more defined flowers. Palate is rich and ripe, with excellent freshness and intense granitic minerality. Hit of opulence as well. Such dramatic and palate staining blackberry and blueberry fruit that is so well defined. Grippy and substantial tannins. Elegant and refined. But still showing young even with all that. Needs air and age. Stunning. But I’ll be back. This can be a 9.5 but a 9.3 for now. Open 10 minutes for this note.

A highlight from my Rhône trip last year, this is stunning. For my palate a perfect balance of concentration, structure, perfume, and life. Only drawback is how young it is, I cant wait to see how this evolves. So much ripe mixed black-berry fruits, sweet smoke, licorice, cured meat and wet black rocks. The florals and little layers are awesome. Seriously punches above its weight. Wanted to rate higher, but I know with time it will only climb from here.

Oct 16th, 2019Psychotic. Huge pure berry nose. Almost cassis. Gorgeous. Earthy, granitic, mineral, unreal aromas. Chewy and dense with wonderful purity and freshness. A baby now but with enormous potential. Stunning balance and so juicy with serious dense structure. So fresh. So pure. What a wine.

Some nice chocolate and cocoa. Gorgeous lift and so clean. Palate is juicy and complex with wonderful elegance and terrific high quality tannin. So fresh and dazzling length. Terrific concentration and purity. This is totally showing out of its mind.
