This is a Crozes-Hermitage that strives to ditch the prefix “Crozes.” Saturated color. Athletic nose has iodine, crushed granite, black uncrushed peppercorns, raw lamb and blackberry pomace. Savory and vigorous in the mouth, still seeming quite youthful, with the tannin and acids to go quite a few more years, though very nice now.
