Morgon Cote du Py Gamay

This is just as good as a Morgon can get. Wonderfully balanced right out the bottle. I was the WOTN for sure. My guests and I enjoyed every sip!

Alluring, Burg-meets-Beaujolais nose, lovely cherry-herb flavor, fab finish

surprisingly dense. the baking spice was hidden the first day, really came out on day two. fierce tannins. a steal for $22.

Delightful and Delicious. Chilled 20 mns prior to opening. Does not disappoint!

Bright almost rusty red color. Raspberry and grassy notes on the nose. More unctuous flavor of forest floor, earth and slightly tart raspberry on the palate. The balance is not perfect; a bit hot. But still, a wine that packs quite a punch given the unassuming outward qualities (and price).

2010, let it breathe thoroughly, so smooth, rich, layered, true earthy prefection

Meaty red fruit aromas. BlackBerry, leather, and charcoal notes. Excellent! Pnp but no rush to drink.

Good Beaujolais. Improved with opening, vanilla +, good depth

10/2020. Great wine and price point. 100% Gamay. Bold flavor and finish. Paired well with the escargot at Black Rooster.
