Domaine des Dimanches
C Cinsault Vin de Table
Natural Cinsault. Non vintage.
Starts off with a nice dose of funk: rotting pineapple and blackberries with a sickly sweet smell. Double glass decant and letting this warm a bit(had it straight from the fridge to avoid storage problems): pain d'epice, blackberry jam, cloves and a hint of overripe pineapple, touch of liquorice.
Voluptuous, silky, juicy with lightest velvet tannins. Pineapple & black&blueberry palate. Blackberry juice sweetened with a hint of Manuka honey aftertaste, light bitter note. Ordered this one in winter from my fav French online shop and had it in the fridge since to avoid bacterial spoilage.
