Domaine des Clos Godeaux, cuvée terroir : Les Coteaux, Chinon 2018, cabernet franc

Very nice nose with cherry and a bit of green pepper and black pepper. The palate is very nice and joyful. A very strong acid backbone, a bright cherry, a bit of black pepper, a nice width and a soft mouthfeel, some light tannins with a quick drying effect, a very long finish with fruit and pepper. Super simple yet very good. Who said one needed over complex wines to enjoy oneself?
