This was a surprise. Delicious herbs and grenachey fruit.

The brett is quite over powering to start with. Reduces with time but never really goes. Underneath there's some really nice dark spicy fruit wanting to get out

Right where it should be. Elegant, refined with a really long, mineral finish. I need to buy some.

Decanted and opening up in a lively manner. This has taken a while to come around, but it's fuller, richer and more layered than the 2014. F-ing delicious right now and this should go beautifully with flank steaks tomorrow.

A study in contrasts. 2014 - Light, elegant and Burgundian with a lighter color and fruit. Softer, but still with that pervasive, limestone minerality.

This is evolving quite nicely. A quick decant and, while the power and structure are there, the limestone minerality and Chinese five spice start to take precedence. Makes me want ribs!
