Bramble, earth, spice, crushed black rocks, a reductive edge adds some meaty savoriness. Just the right amount of juice, silken tannin yet that distinctive “rusticity” one finds in Fixin. Bonus points for that textural juxtaposition.

This is a terrific value for a burgundy. The juice is so clean, with great acidity. I had the ‘14 earlier and you could tell this was a little younger/brighter. A real treat. About $45.
