2004 vintage still has a long life ahead. Such bright, ripe red fruit, meaty, slight tobacco on the finish. Good acidity. Great to see this under the radar producer here.

Tasted blind. First remind of a very good Sangiovese because of the earthiness, texture and touch of VA. Then with more air became more Syrah like. Thought it was Peyre Rose but much older (said '98).
It's a really good wine, drinking really well with some decant, powerful but elegant at the same time.

Full of flowers. Very elegant and feminine. Still very young. Will try in 3-4 years if I have chance.

I found the nose and palate very shut down. When it began to open it felt like it was doing it grudgingly. Lots of dried fruit , spice, mineral and dust that could not compete with the acid. Others found it more pleasurable than I did.

I wish I had bought more of this. Extraordinary depth and concentration of flavor. Lovely sweet tannins. Amazing value and amazing wine. Will age great too if you can keep your hands off it
