Family Reserve Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret Grenache

This is what I call a "cotton-mouth wine" the tannins are thick and wrap around your teeth. 100 % Syrah brings thick fruit and herbs with a slate end.

To my young and inexperienced palette I feel this is very balanced showing wonderful fruit and structured tannins. Enjoy on it's own or with food.

Lush and heavy and full of alcohol (14% might be lowballing it). A Grenache blend with a decent touch of tannin and a hint that it could practically turn to candy with some age.

Cynthia Lohr- A classic French summer rosé from a respected producer in an enticing package that showcases the wine's vibrant, inviting hue. Strawberry with melon undertones and a clean but lingering finish from the wine's slight minerality. Grilled salmon and asparagus topped with ground pepper, shaved asiago and a slight drizzle of white truffle oil pairs beautifully.
