Earthy savory notes dominate with hints of dark cherries. Light in body and well balanced.

45+ minute decant and got better with air. Medium red color with ample brownish tones, which explains all the bricking. Nose was rather muted with some strawberry and cherry tones. Wine was light with a decent fruit to earth ratio. Shortish finish.

Hell, yes! Hubert de Montille, hope you are laughing from above at such a gorgeous pour...translucent garnet robe, ethereal body, nose of roses, silkiest of finishes. Pinch me.

Speechless. Tremendously long, pomegranate, cherry, smoke, ash and earth. This is drinking in its prime right now, especially if you enjoy primary fruit in your burgs.

Surprisingly open and ready to go. Shocking from an '08, in my opinion. Cherry and gravel. This had supreme finesse. Truly elegant. The tannins came out to an increasing degree as the fruit faded. Short-lived but a surprising treat.
