Domaine de Montesquiou
Cuvade Préciouse Jurançon Sec
Pretty chewy for a white wine. 2011 vintage. Grapefruit and wet wool with a prickle of spice. Loved this.

On first popping this puppy it is a touch, dank. Not cold and dank like a cave but warm and dank like a botanical glass house.
Sweaty geraniums.
With a bit of air barley sugar and peat with a light touch of stewed tropical fruit tucked away at the back. There's probably a toffee apple hanging out somewhere as well. Soggy pineapple.
Palate is at first rich and mouth filling but has some underlining acidity that comes back at the end, finish is a bit like that slightly too old lime that your sucking on after the salt and tequila fade, drinking too late at a dive bar.
Made me crack open a bottle of the 2014 just to check I wasn't mad listing it. (The 14' is an awesome wine and fully smashable by the way) 😅

I agree with @Andrew Cooper it has intense almost chewable flavor and very refreshing and balanced acidity. There's a sensation of #minerality that when #blindtasting could almost lead you to think it's a Riesling from Alsace. 14 alcohol. #jurançon
