Hip Hip J Savagnin

My first Alice Bouvot wine.. lovely pineapple nose and deep amber colour. This is actually the Savagnin, not the Chardonnay. Ripe, acidic, effervescent. Tastes like a summer night 🥺

Chardonnay, not savagnin! Delicious

Cloudy, amber and a bit fizzy. Aromas of bruised apple and pear with palate tending to pineapple and the tropics. Well balanced and complex. Looking for more from this producer. Interesting stuff. 3-4*
