Domaine de l'Aujardière (Eric Chevalier)
Vin de Pays du Jardin Fié Gris
A bit too cold - muted the nose. Great citrus and white floral notes

Oct 8th, 2015Almost like a cross between a Loire SB and a Gruner. Lots of green herb and vegetal notes with kiwi, lime, and underripe mango. Piercing, mouth watering acid that could be too much for some. Very good.

Jun 29th, 2020Wonderful acidity, like a Grüner’s laid back Santa Monica cousin. Put the top down on the convertible and just ride....mineral and herbaceous, sleek and quietly powerful. Strong like a racehorse, beautiful and demanding.

Oct 7th, 2017Such an interesting wine! An ancestor to Sauvignon Blanc (I think), this one hangs back on the nose, giving little away. But its flavors are confident and clear. It's got plenty of fruit but nothing like a fruit bomb. And it's not domestic fruit; it's exotic - passion fruit and mango. But the mineral and chemical aspects are phenomenal - bitterness is beautiful.
