[80% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 50% aged in new and used barrels.] Very dark purple color, rich, still seems very youthful, but outstanding fruit, long finish, this punches well above its CdRVillages weight!!

Jun 30th, 2025Bigger, richer than the 2016 Laurances, a little bit of toasty new oak, structured, balanced, excellent depth and length, the oak sweetens the finish a bit, needs 5-10 years for me (for oak to recede), another excellent 2016 southern Rhône!!
