
It’s been a while since I had Savagnin but this one firm Domaine de La Touraize is really approachable. Used it for a sauce that I saw in numerous Paris restaurants recently. Had with Coq au Vin Jura aux morels. Quite nice to pair with mushroms and braised chicken. Notes of melon and preserved lemons. A nice amount of Sherry taste that made it not over powering and pleasant.
