Domaine de la Taille aux Loups
Remus Montlouis-sur-Loire Chenin Blanc
Last vintage I tasted was 2014 and I had missed this... Green apple, ripe pear, , honey, wax, white flowers... Very inviting nose. The palate is bone dry and shows a massive acid backbone but there is a very good width, some sweet, tender mouthfeel, before a long apple and pear and honey and honey finish that lasts for a good 40 to 50 seconds. Wow that's what I'd like all my chenins to taste like. A blue print
Edit : it's much better after 2 hours, and with a few more degrees.
