Very rich yet harmonious fruit flavor dominated by lemon. With a hint of camomile and quince.

Simply lovely. Sings of chalk and minerals hanging from a lemon tree. I’m all in on this one. (If their white is anything to go by I must hunt down their red.)

Flirting between the drier side of CB and its easily identifiable tropical notes, this Saumur is hard to resist once the cork has left the bottle. A pan-seared trout and a simple green salad was pretty damn perfect.

A much softer approach from the ‘18...which also had way too many negative bottle variations to be acceptable. But when the ‘18 rocked...WOW! (9.2). First bottle out for the ‘19 was a tad uninteresting. Soft to the point of being silly...but rescued at the backend with delightful white pepper wrapped around a peach stone fruit finish. Too early to rate. Let’s see how it lands after a few more bottles.
