Smells of that old barnyard where the cool kids hang out and smoke cigs..

Heavy handed, muted berries, anise, eucalyptus. Green.
Big chewy oak tannins, dark cherry acidity rounds it out.
Opened a little too young - needs another 5, at least!

Nice Grenache / Syrah blend from Lirac. Surprisingly accessible at this young age, though definitely better with a solid chill and some air. Quite dark red fruit expressive with some good earth and relatively smooth tannins. Not overly complex but nice.

A refreshingly crisp Rose’ that is easy to drink on a warm summer day. Enjoyed it very much.

Rosé of the night. Full bodied and paired incredibly well with Thomas Keller's mushroom quiche, thankfully made by someone much more talented. Full bodied but lifted by pleasantly tart red fruit.

Woodsy berries on the nose, berry & jam on palate, followed by nice tannin on the finish. Decanted 30-40 minutes opened up nicely.
