Another Wednesday Wine Committee lunch, this time hosted by my buddy @Will Adams ! As always, all wines tasted blind.
This was really nice. Black pepper, blackberry, spice, potpourri like aromatics. Drinking well now but will be even better in a few years. My guess was Grenache which was correct but assumed it was new world from the ripeness. Always confuse young wines for new world!

More intriguing on day 2, but still very interesting upon opening. Smoke, leather, and gunpowder convert to more primary dark fruits and spice

Deep cherry. Not as complex as most CDPs, but in fairness I drank it young.
