A well-made, straightforward, if not terribly compelling Giggie. Fruit dominates the nose: dark cherry, plums, red/black berries. A slight meaty component too. Kind of chunky in the mouth. Soft and big, but without notable depth or complexity. A good fall weeknight wine, but disappointing for its appellation.
