Cuvée Fût de Chêne Côte du Py Morgon Gamay

Deeply colored, palate of fresh raspberry, cranberry and cardamom. Bright tannins that softened quickly.

Black Cherries, Juniper and violets. Real serious gamay. Great balance. Glouglougalore. Drink more Beaujolais 👊🏻

Opened up nicely, a gorgeous, earthy garnet color with some reflection. Cherries and notes of tobacco on the nose and palate. Great balance with a fresh, lengthy finish with hints of mineral. Tannins are integrating nicely.

Nice savory notes, with interesting fruit. Grippy tannins, which I like. At first this presented a bit dilute, but with a little time I thought it gained some really nice depth and intensity. Mineral finish.

Pencil lead...not a good look for wine...

Tasty late summer beauj Morgon. Cherries and raspberries, mint and cola.
