I think it was nearly a year back when I last tasted this rosé. Funny how much the palate has changed over time. Can't say I love it as much as the first time. Still all that strawberry and cream going on in the mouth, and some spice punch, but there's just something odd about the nose - stalkiness? Some acetate? A sort of skinsy note? That sweetness is hiding something. I just can't seem to nail it, but it isn't particularly offensive. Phenolic and textural. An intriguing rosé indeed.

Faarking delicious! Strawberries and cream for days. Young Gaillac winemaker. Minimal intervention approach. Organic vineyard. SW France are so underrated.

If you're in Melbourne, look up Thomas at La Mosaique Wine Imports. Yum!
