2014 needed a bit of a break before it opened into it's deep black cherry and walnutty full throttle adventure. Wish I had a few more bottles to look forward to.

Catch the strawberry. Rich but refreshing. Can't go wrong with this Côtes du Rhône 💗

Mostly grenache, but syrah elements more obvious - meat, pepper, lavender; dry with bitter finish, with medium body, medium acidity, good plum flavors, drinks easy; great value.

Not that expressive, it's got a large amount of residual sugar for its age and grape varietals. Very low acidity, light alcohol flair, and just enough tannin to think you could wait a year and watch it become something. Juicy blackberries. Lacks potential aromas and flavors like it doesn't want to be judged by others badly

Nice fuller body but the notes of eucalyptus are off-putting to me.
