Limoux Grenache Blend

Tannins need more time to resolve. Dark fruits and rich concentration with slight bitterness in finish.

July-August 2020. Purchased 3 bottles of this. First one was awesome. Would have rated it a 9.2 - beautifully balanced, intense fruit, complex with long finish. The next 2 bottles were totally different, failed to impress. Same vintage on all 3, purchased same time. Not sure what accounts for the inconsistency. Disappointing.

Forest floor and mushrooms on the nose. Well balanced and smooth. Dark fruits and baking spices. Dusty cocoa. Should have drank 1-2 years ago.

Past it's prime, have had other bottles from same vintage (not rated). Muted fruit with acid and oak remaining.

Needs a bit more time but very nice and earthy tastes of cigar lemon mint red spice. Paired with venison and mushrooms dish. I'm into it

Beautiful earth and spice notes with layers of dark fruit. The tannin is beautifully balanced.

Ripe and modern Bordeaux grapes mixed with traditional.

Dry, rather full body red with fruit flavors of strawberry and mixed berries. Less spice than I would have expected
