Not bad at all! A little closed, perhaps a bit slim, but will improve in 3 years and last for a decade.

Austere at first, but became really pleasant after 15 minutes in the glass--woody herbs, tobacco, bramble, licorice, mushrooms and graphite. Fine tannins with a long juicy finish. Yum!

Mourvèdre, Syrah & Carignan heavy blend. Blue & black fruited aromatics which effortlessly follow to the palate. This shows an aprupt hit of black pepper & a healthy dose of acidity to frame the dark fruit. Tannins are silky and add complexity on the back of the palate through the finish. This has a savory/earthy character, but the powerful fruit is the star here.
