2012 vintage. Dark, plum red color. Gingerbread, toasty vanilla, and dark chocolate notes on the nose. Very modern style. Fig, plum, soy, fresh ripe blueberry and blackberry liquor caress the palate. Dark Chocolate covered blueberries. The wine is round and plump, very generous, with polished grip on the long finish. Very good for its price point ($19.99)

Wow. Really great. Wonderful with lamb. Fruity, balanced with classic Rhône understory notes. (I don’t think this is a Cote de Rhône Village — listing may be wrong.)
