2012 vintage. Dark, plum red color. Gingerbread, toasty vanilla, and dark chocolate notes on the nose. Very modern style. Fig, plum, soy, fresh ripe blueberry and blackberry liquor caress the palate. Dark Chocolate covered blueberries. The wine is round and plump, very generous, with polished grip on the long finish. Very good for its price point ($19.99)

This wine has really come along well since the last time I had it. Fresh raspberry, rhubarb pie, white peppercorn, salted meat. Mouth filling with really pleasant acidity. A dead ringer for CDP.
