Les Cotes Cornas Syrah

A new producer for me that has been very impressive. Floral & elegant with a perfumed nose of dark red fruits, meat, iron, spice, olive, pepper, graphite & violets. Small production that is hard to source

This was a big surprise as a good wine friend just came back from a week in N Rhone & thought this was the best wine he tasted on his entire trip. This had rich dark fruits, spice, olive that was polished, elegant with silky tannins. This will be a wine I will hunt down but small production makes it difficult to source in the US
