Domaine Coche-Dury (J.F. Coche Dury)
Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Slummin' it tonight with that regional level plonk from a so-so producer. :)

Aug 16th, 2015I would rate it an 8.6 for elegant but completely shut down with nothing at all showing through. Until, 2 hours after opening and after finishing main course and dessert, this incredible gentle thing of finesse started to peak its head out. Too little, too late, but god damn it was worth the wait. That being said, hold at least 5 more years.

Jul 16th, 2015Delicious! Bright red fruit. Great acid. Too bad it's so expensive. Drinks like a good Village.

Jan 3rd, 2015Very Morgon nose. Vinyl, cedar initially, clean leather, black truffle. Big bright acid--too much for Jane. Perfect for me. Infanticide but when else will I be able to order this at a restaurant for 57EU. Red currant, blackberry...if only I could lay a bottle down. Just gets better and better with air.
